Every scam call follows a script. Guardian has learned the scripts India's scammers actually use — and warns you in real time when it hears one.
Digital arrest / fake CBI-police
A caller claims to be CBI or police on a video call, says you're under arrest, and demands money to “clear your name.” Bachao hears the arrest + isolation + pay script and warns HIGH risk immediately.
Courier / customs parcel
“Your parcel has drugs, we're transferring you to the police.” Bachao hears the parcel + contraband + transfer-to-police script and warns before you panic-pay.
Bank KYC / account-block / OTP
“Your account will be blocked — share the OTP to verify KYC.” No bank ever asks for an OTP on a call. Bachao knows this and warns instantly.

A word like “OTP” or “delivery” isn't suspicious on its own. Guardian looks at the whole picture.
Catches the mismatch, not just the word
A caller says “this is Amazon delivery, tell me the OTP” — but the OTP that actually arrived on your phone is from your bank. Guardian catches that mismatch and warns you, even though neither word alone is suspicious.
The golden rule it always applies
