How the Attack Works

Step 1: Initial Compromise The attacker doesn't need to hack the AI model itself. They target the infrastructure:

    1. Misconfigured AWS S3 buckets (still the #1 cause of cloud data leaks in India)
    2. Weak IAM policies allowing broad read access
    3. Unencrypted database backups
    4. Exposed Docker containers with mounted volumes
Step 2: Memory File Access Once inside the cloud environment, the attacker finds memory files. These are typically stored as:

Step 3: Data Extraction Without encryption, the attacker reads years of conversation history in seconds. A typical memory file might contain:

    5. Bank account details (IFSC codes, account numbers)
Step 4: Secondary Attacks With API keys or credentials found in memory, the attacker can:
    1. Access your actual business systems
    2. Impersonate users to your AI agent
    3. Perform unauthorized transactions
    4. Sell customer data on dark web forums
